Study participants who had ever used electronic cigarettes even one or two times were referred to as e-cigarette ever-users, while those who reported current use in the past 30 days were classified as e-cigarette current users. Participants who had used electronic cigarettes in the past but not in the past 30 days were defined as e-cigarette ex-users, and those who had never used electronic cigarettes (even one or two times) were categorized as e-cigarette never users. For e-cigarette users, their consumption patterns were assessed by determining the type of e-cigarette they used (disposable, pre-filled cartridge, or refillable tank), their preferred flavor choice (fruit/mint or menthol/bubble gum/cinnamon/chocolate/other), total amount of cartridge use in milliliters for refillable devices per month, the number of days e-cigarettes were used in the past 30 days, and the age at which they began using e-cigarettes

We also hope that other states in the U.S., as well as other countries, will adopt laws similar to AB455 that advance smokefree indoor policies and, ultimately, the tobacco endgame
